From the South

Traveling on the Bruce highway from Brisbane, take the turn off to the left to Bundaberg just after Apple Tree Creek. Drive through Bundaberg and take the turn to the left at the visitors information centre, then follow the signs to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water, approximately 120 kms from Bundaberg.

From the North

Traveling on the Bruce Highway, turn left at Miriam Vale (just south of Gladstone) and then follow the signs to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water.

    Services
    The Town of 1770 - Agnes Water provide shopping & commercial facilities, butcher, baker, Bendigo Bank, post office, fuel station, newsagent, hairdresser, health and beauty salons, tattooist, tavern, several cafes, swim and surf wear shops, home wares, hardware, library, Visitor Information Centre plus real estate agents. Agnes Water also has a Police Station and a few kilometres before the town on the main road is a Medical Centre & Ambulance Station.

    The Town of 1770 is a blend of a holiday & residential community on the inlet shores. The inlet includes a marina for the water based excursions - tour booking office, bait and tackle, a deli store and cafe. 1770 also boasts 2 restaurants with gorgeous views.
